La historia comienza en el cuarto viaje de Américo Vespucio, para luego retroceder en el tiempo y lanzarse hacia el futuro, una y otra vez.

Es en parte ficción histórica y en parte cómic.
Aunque también hice el guión, o tal vez por eso, necesité de la calidad de un maestro como Pier Brito para realizar las ilustraciones.
En el cruce de ambos géneros, el narrativo y el visual, se mezclan el pensamiento de un hombre lúcido y desengañado en la Europa

renacentista, las creencias de los pueblos prístinos americanos y el viaje de un músico de nuestros días que busca antiguas partituras en las ruinas de las Misiones de América.
Construí el texto sobre los silencios históricos que existen en la vida y los trabajos de Leonardo.
Lo desarrollé a partir de sus pensamientos, sus escritos, sus obras.
Tuve la suerte, mientras escribía, de que se descubrieran lugares que hasta ahora solo estaban mencionados de pasada en los textos

antiguos, y técnicas de pintura que no estaban documentadas, así que hay más que solo una historia.
Una muestra del material que consulté pude verse en la foto, incluyendo la biografía que escribí sobre él hace casi veinte años. Eso, más las horas de documentales de todo tipo, para recrear lo más fielmente posible los climas y los lugares que se mencionan.
Ahora, que Los dos Leonardos está impreso, que ya comienza a hacer su propio camino, les cedo la palabra a quienes lo lean.

What was Leonardo Da Vinci doing when America was discovered? What he thought of its inhabitants? Why is there almost no mention of the New World in his writings?
The story begins in the fourth trip of Americo Vespucio, to then go back in time and embark on the future, again and again. It is part historical fiction, part comic.
Although I also wrote the script, or perhaps for this reason, I needed the quality of a master as Pier Brito to create the illustrations.
In the crossing of both genders, the narrative and visual, it blends the thought of a lucid man who’s disappointed of the renaissance Europe, the beliefs of the pristine american people and the trip of a musician of our times, who’s looking for old scores in the ruins of the Missions in America.
I built the text on the historical silences that exist in the life and work of Leonardo.
I developed it from his thoughts, his writings, his works.
I was lucky that, while I was writing, were discovered places that until now were only mentioned superficially in the ancient texts, and painting techniques that were not documented, so there’s more than just a story.
A sample of the material that I consulted can be seen in the photo, including the biography that I wrote about him almost twenty years ago. That, plus the hours of documentaries of all kinds, to recreate as closely as possible the climates and places mentioned.
Now, that Los dos Leonardos is printed, that’s starting to make its own way, I give the floor to those who read it.
